Simple Vegetable Stir Fry

A quick and healthy vegetable stir fry recipe.

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 cup sliced carrots
  • 1 cup sliced bell peppers
  • 1/2 cup sliced onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup water

Instructions

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  2. Add broccoli, carrots, bell peppers, and onion. Stir fry for 5-7 minutes until vegetables are tender-crisp.
  3. Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute more until fragrant.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, cornstarch, and water until smooth.
  5. Pour the sauce over the vegetables and stir constantly until the sauce thickens.
  6. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • You can add other vegetables like snap peas, mushrooms, or zucchini.
  • Serve with rice or noodles.
