White Chicken Lasagna with Creamy Cheese Layers

  • 9 pieces lasagna noodles
  • 2 cups cooked shredded chicken
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 cups fresh spinach
  • 3 cups Alfredo sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375ยฐF (190ยฐC).
  2. Cook the lasagna noodles according to package directions. Drain them and set them aside.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken, ricotta cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  4. Spread a thin layer of Alfredo sauce on the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  5. Layer 3 lasagna noodles over the sauce. Spread half of the chicken mixture over the noodles.
  6. Add half of the fresh spinach and one-third of the mozzarella cheese on top.
  7. Repeat the layers with another 3 noodles, the remaining chicken mixture, the rest of the spinach, and another third of the mozzarella cheese.
  8. Top with the last 3 noodles, the remaining Alfredo sauce, and the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  9. Cover the dish with aluminum foil. Bake for 25 minutes.
  10. Remove the foil. Bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  11. Let the lasagna cool for a few minutes before garnishing with fresh parsley and serving.
