Crustless Taco Pie

A simple and flavorful crustless taco pie.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 can (15 ounces) refried beans
  • 1 cup salsa
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375ยฐF (190ยฐC).
  2. Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat. Drain off any excess grease.
  3. Stir in the taco seasoning and 1/4 cup of water. Cook according to seasoning packet directions.
  4. Spread the refried beans evenly in the bottom of a 9-inch pie plate.
  5. Top the beans with the seasoned ground beef mixture.
  6. Spread the salsa over the beef.
  7. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the salsa.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  9. Let it cool slightly before serving. Garnish with sour cream and green onions.

Notes

  • Serve with your favorite taco toppings like lettuce, tomatoes, or avocado.
  • This pie can be made ahead and reheated.
