Classic Greek Salad

Ingredients

  • 1 cucumber, chopped
  • 2 tomatoes, chopped
  • 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup Kalamata olives, pitted
  • 4 ounces feta cheese, crumbled
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the chopped cucumber, tomatoes, sliced red onion, and Kalamata olives.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, red wine vinegar, dried oregano, salt, and pepper.
  3. Pour the dressing over the vegetable mixture and toss gently to combine.
  4. Sprinkle the crumbled feta cheese over the salad.
  5. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • For a heartier salad, you can add grilled chicken or chickpeas.
  • Adjust the amount of vinegar and oil to your preference.
